Each year, Roy, Caroline, Lynn, Cynthia, and friends would load up the car with beach chairs, towels, and sunscreen and make the short trip from Concord, North Carolina to spend a week in paradise on the Grand Strand. After the sale of his manufacturing business in North Carolina, Roy Clyburn decided to skip retirement and start a new business with his family in North Myrtle Beach, offering condominium rental services to families that shared his love for vacationing in the area. A lifelong salesman with extraordinary ambition, Roy and the Clyburn family opened Condo-World in 1985, and the rest is history! Over the course of four decades, Condo-World has grown from managing 12 oceanfront properties to nearly 500 and has become the foremost name in luxury vacation rentals in North Myrtle Beach. Roy always credited the success of Condo-World to the dedicated team he assembled to service guests and property owners, “Our people are locals to the area.
